Indian Navy Civilian Motor Driver 2024 Exam

The Indian Navy recruits candidates for various civilian posts. Recently, the notification has been released for recruitment to the post of Motor Driver. The age limit for the candidates applying for the Indian Navy Driver post is listed below:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years.

It must be noted that the Matriculation/SSC/Birth Certificate issued by the concerned Education Board/Competent Authority will only be considered as proof of Date of Birth. However, there shall be age relaxation rules for the various categories prescribed by the navy. The age relaxation details are shared below.

Candidates applying for the post of Indian Navy Driver should fulfill the following educational criteria-

• Matriculation from a recognized Board/Institution and knowledge of first-line maintenance.
• Must possess a driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) & MotorCycles.

Candidates applying for the Indian Navy Driver post must be Indian citizens when applying for the post.
 

The Indian Navy has mentioned no limit on the number of attempts to participate in this recruitment drive. Candidates can participate in this recruitment process until they cross their maximum age restrictions as per their category and other eligibility parameters.

The appointment of provisionally selected candidates will strictly be based on the Physical Fitness Test, subject to satisfactory verification of documents, medical examination and other requirements as applicable and specified by the Government of India and Appointing Authority.

All relevant documents pertaining to age, education, identity, address, category, caste, service etc. will be scrutinized and verified prior to provisional appointment as per extant DoP&T policy.
