NMAT 2023: Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) will release NMAT exam details for admission to the 2023-24 admission session. GMAC releases the exam details along with the NMAT dates in the first week of August. Candidates can attempt the NMAT 2023 exam thrice across a testing window ranging from 70-100 days. Applicants can select the desired exam date via the exam scheduling window. NMAT participating institutes will have a separate application process.

NMAT registration dates will start from August 2023 and close in October 2023 tentatively. Candidates need to fill out the application form and pay the application fees online in order to register successfully. The registration forms will be available on NMAT by GMAC's official website. The exam conducting authority has specified the below-mentioned eligibility criteria for NMAT 2022. Candidates need to fulfil eligibility requirements before applying for the entrance test.

1. Candidate must have completed graduation under 10+2+3 or four years of education pattern from any stream
2. Secured not less than 50 per cent aggregate in the final year of graduation
3. Candidates who are awaiting results or are in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for NMAT 2022. Admission is granted on a provisional basis until the graduation mark sheet and certificate of the qualifying examination are submitted

Candidates need to also check the eligibility criteria of NMAT participating colleges individually before registering for the examination. Applicants need to select five institutes of their preference for admission while applying and those institutes may have different eligibility criteria for admission.

GMAC will release the NMAT 2022 admit card within 24 hours after the scheduling of the NMAT 2022 test by registered candidates as soon as they make the NMAT exam fees payment. Candidates will have to schedule the NMAT exam date and time before printing their NMAT admit card.

Candidates can also use the NMATby GMAC login to download their admit card. The details mentioned in the NMAT 2022 admit card include registration details and photographs. Candidates have to produce the NMAT admit card along with two photo ids at the NMAT entrance exam centre on the NMAT test date.

How to download NMAT 2022 Admit Card:

• Go to the official website i.e. nmat.org .
• Click on the NMAT login and enter the email/ mobile number and password.
• Click the “admit card” button to download the NMAT admit card
• Only students who have scheduled their NMAT 2022 test date and time can download the admit card.
• After downloading the admit card, check the details
• Download and take a printout of the same for the home proctored test. Candidates appearing for the test in an exam centre can download and show the same on their mobiles.

The next stage of the NMAT selection process is the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI) round which is conducted by the participating institutes.

The participating institute may also decide to conduct a WAT (Writing Ability Test) or Case Discussion (CD) round instead of the conventional GD round. The decision of final admission is based on the combined performance in NMAT online test and GD-PI round.

• The examination will be conducted in an online mode.
• There will be three papers in the NMAT Exam i.e. Language Skills, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Skills. The candidates have to score maximum marks in each section to surpass NMAT Exam Cut-Off Marks.
• The candidates will get 2 hours to complete the test,
• Along with this, for every correct answer, the candidates will get 3 marks while for each wrong answer there will be no deduction of the mark.

NMAT cut off score or percentile is the minimum mark required by candidates in order to appear in the further rounds of the admission process. The cut off of NMAT will be released by the participating B-schools based on some important factors which include the number of candidates registered for the exam, No. of appeared candidates, the availability of seats, the difficulty level of NMAT, and past teat cutoff trends.

Further rounds will include Group Discussion (GD) / Writing Ability Test (WAT)/ Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI). Eligible candidates will be called for further rounds if they qualify for the cut off score.
