MAT 2024 Exam

MAT Exam 2023 dates for May session is now declared by the exam conducting authority AIMA. As per the latest official updates, MAT Exam will be conducted in three modes PBT, CBT (1 & 2) and IBT. AIMA conducts MAT Exam every year in the month of February, May, September and December. MAT 2023 registration is now ongoing on the official website of AIMA MAT. The candidates who are thinking to appear in MAT Exam in May 2023 must complete the registration and pay the exam fees on or before the deadline.

MAT Exam is a national-level exam, conducted by AIMA to initiate the admission process to MAT colleges in India. There are 5 sections in the MAT 2023 syllabus, from which a total of 200 questions are asked. The total MAT Exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Note one thing, the candidates can choose exam mode at their convenience at the time of registration. Below we have mentioned all the relevant information that the candidates should know before applying for the upcoming MAT Exam 2023.

The schedule of MAT May 2023 exams have been announced. Check the below table for MAT PBT and CBT dates. The IBTs will be conducted in two slots - 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM and 4.00 PM to 6.30 PM. Check event and dates below:

• The candidates must complete Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (Arts, Science, and Commerce).
• The final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for MAT Exam 2022.
• If you have a professional degree like CA, CS, and ICWA, then you are also eligible for the exam.
• There is no specific upper age limit for MAT Exam.

MAT admit card download process for September phase exams has started. The MAT IBT and PBT admit cards are available for download on the official website. In order to download the hall ticket, candidates need to key in the registration number and date of birth on the login page of AIMA-MAT website. Given below are the steps to download MAT admit card:

• Open the MAT 2022 website
• Go to 'download/view'
• Select ' MAT admit card' from the drop down
• Enter email ID, password and date of birth
• Download the MAT admit card 

As per the official update, the MAT Exam Selection Process includes further rounds including GD (Group Discussion), PI (Personal Interview), and WAT (Written Ability Test) conducted by the institutes individually. The candidates must note that AIMA has no role in these selection processes, as the final results are declared by MAT Institutes.

Below are some important guidelines that you must be aware of if you are attempting the MAT Exam 2022.

• Candidates need to select at least 5 participating institutes at the time of filling the MAT 2022 Application Form. 
• The candidates need to meet the cut-off to be selected by the institutes accepting MAT Score. 
• The participating institutes shortlist candidates based on parameters fixed by their administration.
• You will not get any call from the institute of your preference if you fail to meet the selection criteria, declared by the institutes. 
• Some of the MAT participating institutes offer admission to MAT-qualified candidates based on the exam scores only. They do not conduct further selection rounds like GD-PI-WAT.

The officials of the MAT Exam 2022 for September Session will declare the results for all three modes on the same date: PBT, CBT, and IBT. The candidates can check MAT Exam 2022 Result 2022 for September session on the AIMA official website. All the candidates who have appeared for the exam can download their results by using their Login Credential. Note the step below to download MAT Result. 

• Visit the official website AIMA.
• Click on Download/View
• Click on 'MAT 2022 result' 
• Select Exam Month
• Enter Roll Number and Registration Number
• Click on the 'Submit' tab
• MAT Score Card 2022 for September will appear on the screen
• Download it for future reference

• Open AIMA-MAT website in a new browser
• Click on “Fresh Candidate to create Log In” tab: https://mat.aima.in/sep22/register-online
• Enter name, date of birth, email ID, mobile phone number and a password
• Fill the MAT exam application form with relevant information
• Select preferred test mode (CBT, PBT, IBT), test cities and five B-Schools
• Upload a recent passport size photo and scanned signature
• Make fee payment via debit/credit card, net banking or e-wallet to complete the process
