SSC MTS 2023 Exam Date Out : SSC MTS exam is a national-level exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for selecting candidates in General Central Service Group-C non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts in various ministries, departments and offices of the Govt of India. The candidates shortlisted for multi-tasking staff posts are salaried with Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission with basic pay of Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs.1,800. SSC is going to conduct SSC Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2023 providing job opportunities for 10th pass candidates. As per the SSC Calendar 2023, SSC MTS 2023 Computer Based Test is to be held from 01st to 14th September 2023 in multiple shifts.

There are three major criteria that a candidate is required to fulfill in order to be eligible for SSC MTS 2023 Exam. Before filling the applications for SSC MTS Exam, the candidates must know the minimum required Eligibility Criteria in terms of nationality, education qualification, and age limit. The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:
i) A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age, candidates born not before 02-01-1999 and not later than 01-01-2006.
ii) 18-27 years, candidates born not before 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2005.
Apart from the pre-mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.
A candidate must be of a minimum of 18 years of age and must not exceed 27 years of age, candidates born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply for Havaldar in CBIC and CBN, Department of Revenue.

A candidate is required to pass Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board, University or Institute to be eligible to apply for SSC MTS 2023 Exam.
The SSC MTS admit card for Tier 1 exam has been rolled out. Candidates who has completed the registration process can download the admit card for the SSC MTS 2022. Admit card is an important document without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the examination. Steps to Download the SSC MTS Admit Card
Candidates must have a fair understanding of the selection process of the SSC MTS exam. SSC MTS selection process consists of CBT, Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test (PET/PST), and Descriptive exam. Candidates need to qualify both the papers to be considered for the Multitasking post and all three stages, including PET for the Havaldar post. While for Tier-1, the cutoff is released by the authorities along with the declaration of the result and for Tier-2 candidates need to score minimum marks to proceed further in SSC MTS 2022 recruitment. However, the final selection is done based on the marks scored in the Tier 1 exam.

General Awareness | Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline. |
The examination of SSC MTS 2023 will be conducted in 2 different levels: Paper-1, PET/PST (only for havaldar). Paper-1 is an online exam that is objective multiple choice question type.
SSC MTS 2023 Paper-1 Exam PatternThe revised SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern has been released along with SSC MTS Notification 2023. There will be Computer-Based Examination which is divided in 2 Sessions. Session-I and Session-II and both the Sessions will be mandatory to be attempted. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Session 2 and there will be no negative marking in Session-1.

SSC MTS Cut-off is the minimum score that aspirants taking the exam will have to obtain in order to move to the next stage of the exam. The cutoff will be released twice, first for Paper 1 (Tier-1) and second for Paper 2(Tier-2). Cutoffs are released along with the result declaration.
