About SSC JE Exam

The Staff Selection Commission conducts an All-India Level Examination to recruit Junior Engineers from core engineering branches i.e., Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. SSC is one of India's biggest government job opportunities providing board, Apart from Junior Engineer SSC conducts exams for candidates having different qualifications like 10+2, graduate degree, diploma, etc. SSC JE Exam is a two-tier exam, Tier I exam is objective in nature and Tier II exam is subjective in nature. Candidates clearing Written exam will be called for final selection. The SSC JE 2022 notification Syllabus consists of questions from both technical and non-technical domains. Nationality

SSC JE applicants should be citizens of any of the below-mentioned regions. They are eligible to take the exam as per the SSC JE 2022 Notification if they fulfil any of the criteria of nationality as listed below:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before 1st January 1962, with the intention of residing in India permanently, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Malawi, Ethiopia, Zaire, Zambia, and Vietnam with the intention of settling in India permanently.

SSC JE Selection

SSC JE selection process play an important role in understanding the complete cycle and pattern of the exam. The selection of the candidates for the SSC JE exam 2022 is done through the following stages. 
  • Stage 1: Written examination or Paper 1 (Objective Type). The mode of exam is online comprises 200 marks.
  • Stage 2: Written examination or Paper 2 is a conventional type for 300 marks. This exam will take place in an offline mode.
  • Stage 3: Document Verification (DV)

You must note that no interview will be conducted for the selection of the candidates for SSC JE post. Thus, the final selection of the candidates for SSC JE 2022 will be done through the marks obtained by you in stage 1 and stage 2 of the exam. The marks secured in SSC JE paper 1 will be normalised.

SSC JE 2022 Apply Online: Candidates interested to apply for SSC JE Exam 2022 can follow the steps provided below to successfully register themselves for SSC JE 2022 Exam.
