The Jindal Education and Welfare Society were born out of a desire to promote education and welfare for the needy. It is promoted by Jindal Steel & Power limited, India’s fastest growing steel and power Company. The society has opted 42 villages and is working to engineer their socio-economic development. It also runs free medical facility, family planning and eye camps. Special effort is being made to help the physically challenged and the girl child.
